By Keir Harness

The beauty of the North Norfolk coast line and the picturesque serenity of its rural market towns and villages ensure that the area continues to thrive s one of the UK’s most popular short break and Holiday destinations. Of course having the A149 road which follows the coast line east to west connecting the major resort towns of the country is a big plus. The road starts in the east coast resort of Gt Yarmouth and follows a semi-circle through the county along the coast line through all the major tourist destinations on the North Norfolk coast. to Kings Lynn in the West.

Choose North Norfolk for your holiday or break this year and choose one of the many excellent Bed and Breakfast’s in the region for your stay. The North most portion of the A149 is where you will find the most popular destinations such as the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. Further west you can find the fashionable villages of Holt, Cley, Hustanton and Holkham. With the Royal Estate at Sandringham and the beautiful stretch of coast line it is easy to see why the North West corner of Norfolk has for the past decade been a hot spot for second home owners.

The site has massive archeological importance and its significance is only second to Stone Henge.

A brisk walk along the beach and you will build up an appetite to sample some of the local sea food. top quality restaurants dot the area and are not hard to find.

Further south of Hunstanton you can find the Royal estate of Sandringham a favourite of the Queen and well worth your time to make a visit as a museum and areas of the house which are open to public (an admission price is charged)
